WHAT DOES A CLEANER DO IN 3 HOURS?

I prioritize areas that need the most cleaning in 3 hours:

Particular rooms

Particular tasks

Regular cleaning service in large scale areas

 

When you book for three hours, I will have to divide the cleaning time and more time for the disordered spaces.

 

HOW LONG SHOULD A CLEANING SERVICE TAKE?

 

I could choose to focus on quality over quantity. Striving to always select quality results over quantity and relay this to me is essential to your home. Since you own the place, you know which areas are the dirtiest or have the most clutter

 

Three Hours Schedule By Area

 

Rule of thumb, the cleaning needs and the time you assign to clean the living areas or the kitchen surfaces will always depend on whether I need to move clutter around to clean surfaces. 

 

These are some of the estimates in each cleaning area in a general sense, and to have a heads up of what you can expect to see at the end of your appointment with my cleaning service. 

 

Making beds and cleaning bedrooms in general: approximately 40 minutes each

 

Cleaning bathrooms (about 30-45 minutes each)*Add 30min to time for mold and mildew add 1hour for deep cleaning**

 

Cleaning the living room (about 45 minutes)

 

Kitchen appliances (about 40 minutes)

To give you a better idea in case you need to know, here are several cleans that you can usually expect to see in three hours

Three Hours Schedule by Task

Besides prioritizing your room, you can go by tasks and maximize your 3-hour appointment with me who can give you a decent job of cleaning specific functions that you have wanted to sort out but do not have time for. Each task may take up to 20 minutes or more, depending on their state of clutter or dust.

Your cleaning needs will always be the utmost priority, so any cleaning tips or preferences are helpful, primarily for safety reasons. Some of the tasks that I can do for you in three hours are:

 

Wiping down countertops

Cleaning the bathrooms, including bathtubs, shower heads, and toilets

Vacuuming

Dusting and vacuuming living room

Wiping the sink, kitchen surfaces and washing the dishes

Mopping the floors

Cleaning the outer exterior fridge, oven and microwave. 

You may think it is just fast to clean each area for 10 mins, but if you add up these small tasks, you will quickly consume three hours. Hence, it is essential to know which has the most cleaning needs so you can use your 3 hours wisely.

You may want to write a checklist of your cleaning needs to make use of the three hours and get your money’s worth. Decluttering can be one of the things that every client’s home can do before the cleaner arrives. You can pick up or put away the following such as:

 

Toys

Books

Mails

Loose change

Other things such as used clothes, plates

In other words, anything that can be thrown in the trash, put in the storage, or put back in their proper places can be done as part of the decluttering. The less disarray you have at home, the easier it will be to focus on the main features that need cleaning. It will also matter if you do some decluttering here a little, there a little, every day.

 

Dust

Dust, though small, could cause significant problems to your whole house and health. Dangerous particles of pollen, dander and even skin can stick to your furniture and other surfaces. You can also inhale them, causing discomfort and allergies.

 

Regular service can include dusting as part of the three hours by ensuring all the most critical and seen walls are dusted from the top down. 

 

Vacuuming of living room and bedrooms.

 

Wet Cleaning This covers your bathroom toilet, and kitchen sink.

Cleaning sprayers work best if i let them sit for a bit, about 20 minutes.

 To try get rid of all the shower soap scum. Hopefully can see efficient and immediate results. I always finish wiping it with a microfiber cloth and hot water to wipe away the calcification. 

 

Mopping After clearing the area and sweeping the floor, I will start mopping in sections.

Cleaning will be more efficient if you relay what you need to clean the most in case I run out of time. 

This information is for you and to give you an idea of what to expect. Some clients have high expectations of how clean their home should be after a cleaner is hired. There are many factors to consider such as the amount of time the size of the home and the amount of clutter that has to be moved to clean surfaces and how long it's been since it was actually cleaned. 

So for me not to disappoint please prioritize your cleaning needs so you can get the most important things cleaned the less important tasks to be added if time allows or during a future cleaning. Cleaning inside empty cabinets: $50 – $70

Cleaning inside a fridge: $30 – $50 incl. Deep

Oven cleaning: $30 incl. Deep

Using eco-friendly products: Seventh generation or Heavy duty cleaners I have both your choice.

Laundry Wash & folding (2 loads): $30

Sweeping a garage: $15

Organizing and decluttering: $50 per hour 3hr.min plus the cost of any storage containers or organizer bins.

Window cleaning: $5 – $10 per window

Spot Clean Carpet: $20 per room

Carpet cleaning: $100 – $300 

Additional hr per room

Move-In or Move-Out Cleaning Service can make moving a little easier. Can include emptying garbage cans, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning baseboards, light switches, window ledges and wiping doors. It also includes cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens. Bathrooms get scrubbed, mirrors and faucets polished and cabinets cleaned. Kitchen cleaning includes countertop cleaning, wiping appliances, sink cleaning, stove and microwave cleaning, as well as microwave and cabinet doors cleaning.

Any inside cleaning of cabinets or drawers must be empty prior to cleaning. A prior notice must be given If I must remove items and a 70.00 fee will be added and a charge for the extra time required to do this task.

Some services, like garage sweeping, packing,unpacking and moving of furniture are all add-on service.

Packing or unpacking $50.00

Moving furniture $50.00

**All estimates are just that only an estimate. Time allotted can change at any time during the walk thru and during the cleaning but will not go past the estimated time without first contacting the client and requesting the needed time to finish the cleaning you may opt out of the extra time needed at any time before the task.If you agree to the extra time needed then you agree to the extra charge at the end of the cleaning.

***Cancelation fee will be charged any time you request to cancel with less than 24 hours till your booked appointment. 25% of the estimated cleaning fee will be charged and is due immediately at the time of cancellation. Example est.150.00- 25%cancel fee=$37.50 is your balance and due at the time of cancellation. 

NO EXCEPTIONS.

This is a verbal binding contract for cleaning service and if you agree to the terms you agree to all fees including cancellation fees all due during cancellation or after cleaning.
